At Last. The front is off the shed

Spindrift is ready for the water. Just waiting for the truck to arrive. It has taken five years three months to build.

Today I took the front off the shed. At last you can see the first photos of a 10 metre Gary Underwood Passage Maker. Design # 71.

  2. Oh that’s such good news! We are so excited for you, and for spindrift to Reach her purpose...sarah and I are amazed at what you’ve accomplished and Naia and Mateo think spindrift is beautiful! When I showed Naia your 5 year journey, she remembered the river rat from the book you gave her... “there is nothing — absolutely nothing — half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats. Simply messing... about in boats — or with boats.” SHe has started reading it again tonight!
Hope we see you soon, in the meantime we’ll be awaiting news of the launch- lots of love the yehudilites.
