Well Deck

Thank goodness for my overhead crane. These extended 18mm Meranti sheets are heavy. I picked this one off the floor and transited over the cabin top and lowered it in place. Bit of a tight fit.

Scarfing Again!

Here I am all set to start scarfing the three 18mm ply sheets for the welldeck. Each is 2970mm long. Long scarfs. Happy that I have an overhead block and tackle system for managing the lifting of these heavy sheets.

An Update as Work Progresses

Still working on the eyebrow. Happy with it. The beam has a 150mm cambre and a tight bend at each end. Hence the need for the slots which will be filled with glue.
Plus a few pics of the interior with the saloon bunks under construction.

Looking like a boat.

Friend, Greg & Elaine from Spokane Washington are here for a few days. Cool, Greg has been put to work with the putty knife. There is about a thousand staple holes in the cabin top.
