Alaskan Yellow Cedar

Using Alaskan Yellow cedar for all kinds of framing on Spindrift. Cut the end of a dressed bit of 100x50 today and marvelled at the number of grain rings. 92 in 46.7mm. that means (at that rate) for that tree to reach one metre diameter it would be 985 years old. Seems Spindrift was started about the time Maori colonised New Zealand!
The notes on the Rosenfeld Kidson web stated "Sustainably Harvested" Really!
