Still Making Gudgeons

There is a lot of work in a rudder. This next rudder gudgeon will also be the steering arm through the transom for the hydraulic ram to attach to.
The first photo shows the bush set up in the mould. The square plates are just mould bulkheads and are removed when the resin is set. The wax paper is used to stop the glass sticking to the rudder.

The above photo shows the bottom rudder gudgeon also. It still needs to be correctly positioned then glued and glassed in place.
