Keel Work

I have constructed the piece of deadwood that goes between the shaft and the hull. It is on the floor. Needs a bit of faring. Now working on the remainder. This timber in the photo is just trimmed to fit and stacked. Still needs to be glued and fared.
Did not expect otherwise but none the less was very happy when the shaft just slid easily through all the bearings in the log. There is a little less prop hull clearance than I would have preferred but still have 17% of the diameter clearance. Better than many vessels it seems.
