Sawn and glued deck beam added to frame #6

The next move is to stand this frame up. 2 man job. Too heavy for one. The photo showes shows the forward face. The hole will be access to the rear end of the  engine / gearbox. It will be filled in with a lift out door from under the cabin sole. Think I will make the door before I stand the frame up.

Feather-boad - This works for me

This works well for long planks and also for those small bits to cut that you don't want to hold.. The feather-board keeps the wood tight against the guide.

Slowly, slowly

Frame one completed waiting to be stood up. Frame two under construction. Tomorrow I will cut lamination strips for the deck beam and glue it up.
Frame one

Frame one deck beam

Frame one waiting to be stood up

Frame two. Quite a bit to do yet. This has a ply bulkhead that will be fitted pre glue-up and another deck beam to be laminated. Currently planning to glue all in one shot. I will finish the beam first.
