The shed is complete. The floor will come later.
Today I bought a Ryobi table saw, timber and particle board for the floor and most of the timber for the ladder.
Also found some timber for the bottom and more for fit-out.
This blog is about my build of our boat "Spindrift / Rehutai" and its cruises. It is Design # 71 from Gary Underwood - A 10 metre, multi-chine ply passage maker powered by a 35hp Beta (Kubota)

Sunday - Day off.
Instead of working I have taken the day off. Just for fun and a bit of practice with the offsets I drew them on the shed wall full size. Rough as but it gives the general idea. I see that station #2 is a bit deep.. Plan is OK.

Shed is all covered in
Only have the floor and security to completely finish the shed. I will build the Ladder that Spindrift's hull will be built on prior to building the floor.

Achieve Great Things
I made a roll up blind for the end wall. Works well. That is it rolled up about half way up the end. Still have a gap to fill above it. Then I filled in the last 2 metres of one of the sides. Rolled down the skin and saw what it said for the first time... ACHIEVE GREAT THINGS. I thought that was appropriate. One step at a time, little by little the Spindrift Project continues and will achieve great things.

The First Truss Is Up
The shed really is started now. Feel quite proud that I was able to erect the truss with no other help. I plan to lift the remaining 7 trusses with the block and tackle attached to the top of the first truss.
I will have 5m clearance. Should be enough.
Another day, another step.
Thanks for the shed Brett.

The Shed is Mostly at Home
After three days hard work most of the shed is dismantled and at home. There will be a pause for now until I finish work at WDC and wait until the scaffolding around Bret's ship is redundant. Then I will bring home the posts.
