Windscreen Wiper

Complicated task. Trying to make a wiper system fit  that will give the largest possible clearance.

The wooden stick is swinging from a nail in the deck beam where the motor shaft will be.

Finally after much experimenting purchased an Exalto LD motor, arm and blade.

Galley Bench & Bunk Backrests

Liking the galley bench that Melva varnished. The stove will hang on gimbals just forward of the bench. There will be a double sink unit above the galley doors and a bin to port of that.

The bunk backrests, although only 120mm high, are very comfortable at 15 degrees.

Certainly starting to look different. Humid weather is a bit of a hold up with painting the hull. May have to move back into the cabin and continue there.

Rudder Feedback for the Autopilot

Too wet to paint yesterday so spent the day fitting the rudder feedback unit to the tiller.
It is a bit more difficult to do with a transom hung rudder as the feedback unit can't be mounted parallel to the rudder post so had to invent the wheel.
