Back to the beginning.

Main Cabin Sole Progress
I started laying the cabin sole ply on Thursday. Quite happy with the progress.
I need lift rings for the centre three panels (From the stern) and to lift all and Everdure the framing and ply.
After that start on the Cabin sides and top.
Galley to port. Helm on the Starboard side.

Galley?
Mmmm. Lots of thinking going on here. Its all related to the cabin sole structure. The sink is a sink and the cardboard is the Force 10 cooker.

Engine Bearers and Shelves
Finished the engine bearers, clamped in the tanks, installed the exhaust skin fittings, fitted a plinth for the washdown and fresh water pumps and constructed shelves above the tanks.
Now to everdure all that woodwork.

The Road
The road goes ever on
Never straight
From one bend to the next.
Hill to dip to rise.
View to view.
We are here or there but always on
This road that goes ever on.
At a viewpoint I can see ahead
To the crest beyond the bend.
But no further.
I have a destination, idea
In my mind. A place
Still too distant to see.
The way ahead is clear.
I guess that’s a cheer.
Lots of little projects on the road behind and ahead.
