Thank goodness for my overhead crane. These extended 18mm Meranti sheets are heavy. I picked this one off the floor and transited over the cabin top and lowered it in place. Bit of a tight fit.
This blog is about my build of our boat "Spindrift / Rehutai" and its cruises. It is Design # 71 from Gary Underwood - A 10 metre, multi-chine ply passage maker powered by a 35hp Beta (Kubota)

Scarfing Again!
Here I am all set to start scarfing the three 18mm ply sheets for the welldeck. Each is 2970mm long. Long scarfs. Happy that I have an overhead block and tackle system for managing the lifting of these heavy sheets.
